Pilates Practitioner APMA Level 4
Diploma of Nutrition
Narelle is InSync’s proud Owner and Director as well as a hugely experienced Pilates practitioner. She has been an APMA accredited course providers AND a national examiner, a reflection of her standing in the industry and the esteem in which she is held. Narelle comes from an elite dance background, studying at the Australian Ballet School before accepting a 4-year scholarship in Monte Carlo at age 17. Upon returning to Australia she danced with the West Australian Ballet and the Australian Ballet Company.
Sadly, injury curtailed her dancing career, but serendipitously introduced her to Pilates. Narelle’s dance background gave her a detailed understanding of muscle control and training practices, which helped her excel in her new career. Narelle helped develop and manage numerous Pilates studios in Sydney while working as a mentor and trainer. In 2003, now back in Melbourne, she became a director of InSync and has since taken over full ownership.
Her special interests include exercise rehabilitation and biomechanical retraining for a variety of musculoskeletal conditions, and naturally, dance, especially the health and wellbeing of young dancers.
Narelle is passionate about educating her clients, empowering them
to take ownership of their bodies, get fit and live healthy lives.
Outside of InSync, she is involved in a number of business and leadership groups and is a devoted mother of two.
