Vacancies
Physiotherapist - part time (approx. 24 - 34 hours per week - flexibility with hours and shifts)
The position provides a physiotherapist with the opportunity to perform detailed assessments of a diverse range of conditions, including injuries arising from sporting activities, occupational pursuits and general activities of daily living.
The blend of responsibilities includes:

A varied musculoskeletal caseload (30 min consultations)

Creating care and treatment plans based on individual needs
-
Planning exercise regimes to assist recovery
-
Pilates/Exercise Rehab (biomechanical screening) assessments
-
Pilates/Exercise Rehab classes – 60 min. sessions with max. 3 clients per class
-
Pre-pointe and comprehensive dance assessments and other dance-specific consultations (only if experienced in this area)

Managing a caseload of loyal and established clients
About you
The successful candidate is a true professional, driven and passionate about providing clinical excellence and has:

A physiotherapy degree
-
AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance
-
Min 1-2. years physiotherapy experience with a musculoskeletal caseload (Graduates are welcome to apply)

Previous private practice and musculoskeletal rehab experience is an advantage
-
Previous Pilates experience is an advantage (training, support, and mentorship will be provided to develop Pilates instruction as needed)

Exceptional eye for detail

Hours and availability across the week can be discussed as there is some flexibility for times and days

Physiotherapist (Dance caseload)- part time or casual (approx. 2 x shift per week, min 10-12 hours)
The position provides a physiotherapist with the unique opportunity to join the InSync Dance Team and focus on a diverse range of dance-specific consultations. There are many professional development perks, including the opportunity to work with a number of industry experts with professional dance backgrounds who understand the complexities of dance and the stress dancers place on their bodies.
Dance-specific physiotherapy is a specialised service at InSync. Our team is at the forefront of modern sports medicine principles in the dance world. The Dance Team provide a range of services for dancers and teachers. Physiotherapists focus on injury treatment and prevention through performance enhancement goal setting and the design of personalised exercise programs to measure and improve skills and technique.
The blend of responsibilities includes:

Hands-on physiotherapy, one-to-one with clients (30 min consultations)

Manage a caseload of established clients

Pre-pointe and comprehensive dance assessments and other dance-specific consultations

Development of personalised, prescribed exercise programs to assist with recovery from injury or to reach performance goals

Collaborative goal-setting with dancers for performance enhancement and injury prevention

Liaise with dance teachers, parents and other health professionals, where needed, to ensure clients apply correct treatment and training practices
About you
The successful candidate is passionate about providing clinical excellence and playing an important part in the development and treatment of dancers. You will have a genuine interest in the art of dance and thorough knowledge and understanding of the demands and typical injuries of dancers, as well as:

A physiotherapy degree

AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

1-2 years of physio experience but graduates with personal dance experience are encouraged to apply

Experience with a dance caseload and/or personal dance experience

Exceptional eye for detail

Willingness to contribute to the supportive and cohesive workplace culture

Availability to work 1-2 shifts per week with the opportunity to expand if desired, including Saturday morning (flexibility with hours is possible)

Previous Pilates experience is an advantage and can be integrated into the caseload

Non-dance physio consultations are also an option for those looking for variety
Pilates Instructor- Casual: 10 + hours per week
The position provides an experienced Pilates Instructor with the opportunity to take on an existing caseload, deliver high-quality Pilates Instruction to our loyal and valued clients, and form an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team.
The blend of responsibilities will includes:

Efficiently managing 1:3 Pilates clients in 1-hour sessions in a clinical setting
-
Appropriately planning and modifying sessions to address clients’ specific needs
-
Completion of thorough client notes in Cliniko after each session
-
Providing appropriate client education and personalised home programs
-
Liaising with the team of allied health professionals (e.g. Physiotherapists and Exercise Scientists) to foster the achievement of client goals and objectives, addressing specific client care plans and other exercise recommendations
About you
The successful candidate is a true professional, driven and passionate about providing clinical excellence and has:

Min. 1 year of Pilates Instruction experience

Pilates Certification (e.g APMA) and professional indemnity insurance

Previous experience in an allied health private practice is an advantage

The ability to work a minimum of 10 – 15 hours throughout the week, including Saturdays (with the opportunity to expand hours over time if desired).
