Vacancies

Physiotherapist (Exercise Rehab/Pilates focus) - approx. 15-20 hours per week

The position provides a Physiotherapist with the opportunity to shift away from a heavy hands-on manual therapy caseload and move towards movement-based exercise rehab and Pilates teaching. A role suited to a physio who is looking to develop or expand their Pilates teaching skills, enjoys class-based teaching, clinical reasoning, autonomy and the freedom to be creative in class design.

The blend of responsibilities includes:

  • Pilates/Exercise Rehab (biomechanical screening) assessments

  • Pilates/Exercise Rehab classes – 60 min. sessions with max. 3 clients per class

  • 1:1 Exercise rehab sessions – 60 min

  • Planning exercise regimes, education and creating care and treatment plans based on individual needs

  • Guide clients through technique, alignment, strength development, and progression

  • Liaise with the broader clinical team to ensure continuity of care

  • Participate in mentoring, professional development, and team initiatives

  • Managing a small physio caseload of loyal and established clients

 

Physios with experience or personal interests in niche areas, for example, dance conditioning, cycling rehab or athlete performance, are supported to engage in existing specialty services or develop this with the support of the Director, where interested.

About you

The successful candidate is a true professional, driven and passionate about providing clinical excellence and has:

  • A min. 2 plus years of physiotherapy experience

  • AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

  • Previous Pilates experience is an advantage (training, support, and mentorship will be provided to develop Pilates instruction as needed)

  • Previous private practice and musculoskeletal rehab experience is an advantage

  • Exceptional eye for detail

  • A commitment to learning and professional development

  • Willingness to contribute to the supportive and cohesive workplace culture and demonstration of InSync’s values

  • The ability to work min. 15-20 hours per week (Wednesday to Friday), with the opportunity to expand if desired. Hours may include some evenings, but are flexible to accommodate specific needs.
