Physiotherapist/Pilates Instructor - Part-time (16 + hours per week)

The position provides an experienced physiotherapist/Pilates Instructor the opportunity to perform detailed assessments of a diverse range of conditions, including injuries arising from sporting activities, occupational pursuits and general activities of daily living. There is an opportunity for an experienced physio, with a dance background, to work with the InSync Dance Team, performing a number of dance-specific consultations. The blend of responsibilities include:

  • Musculoskeletal and sports/dance physio caseload (30 min consultations)

  • Managing a caseload of loyal and established clients

  • Creating care and treatment plans based on individual needs

  • Planning exercise regimes to assist recovery

  • Pre-pointe and comprehensive dance assessments and other dance-specific consultations (if applicable with experience)

  • Pilates (biomechanical screening) assessments 

  • Pilates classes – 60 min sessions with max. 3 clients per class


About you

The successful candidate is a true professional, driven and passionate about providing clinical excellence and has:

  • A physiotherapy degree

  • AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

  • Min 3. years physiotherapy experience with a musculoskeletal caseload (ideally with experience in a private practice setting)

  • Experience with a dance caseload and personal dance experience is desirable but not essential

  • Previous Pilates experience (expert training, support, and mentorship will be provided to develop Pilates instruction)

  • Exceptional eye for detail

  • Willingness to contribute to the supportive and cohesive workplace culture

  • Ability to work up to 16 hours per week with availability across the week, including Tuesday and Thursday.
