Current Vacancies

Physiotherapist (approx. 21 + hours per week)


The role

The position provides an experienced physiotherapist/pilates instructor the opportunity to perform detailed assessments of a diverse range of conditions, including injuries arising from sporting activities, occupational pursuits and general activities of daily living. As a member of the InSync Dance Team, there will be a number of dance-specific consultations. There are many professional development opportunities, including the opportunity to work with a number of industry experts with professional dance backgrounds.


The blend of responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on physiotherapy, one to one with clients (30 min consultations)

  • Musculoskeletal and sports/dance caseload

  • Managing a caseload of loyal and established clients

  • Creating care and treatment plans based on individual needs

  • Planning exercise regimes to assist recovery

  • Pre-pointe and comprehensive dance assessments and other dance-specific consultations

  • Pilates (biomechanical screening) assessments (in-house training provided)

  • Pilates classes – 60 min sessions with max. 3 clients per class (post internal training)

  • Seeking opportunities to increase the client base via affiliations with sporting clubs, schools and businesses (with support from management)


About you

The successful candidate must have:

  • Physiotherapy degree

  • AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

  • Minimum 2 years Physiotherapy experience with a musculoskeletal caseload (ideally within a private practice setting but not essential)

  • Experience with a dance caseload and personal dance experience is desirable

  • Previous Pilates experience is an advantage but not essential (Expert training, support, and mentorship will be provided) 

  • Exceptional eye for detail, excellent communication and customer service skills and a drive to pursue all opportunities for professional development

  • A clear and committed health and wellness vision

  • Willingness to contribute to the supportive and cohesive workplace culture

  • Availability to work min. 21 hours per week on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday.
