Meet The Team
In Joanne’s younger life, she enjoyed ballet and danced up to RAD Advanced level before turning her attention to physiotherapy. This career path change allowed Joanne to continue pursuing her love for dance, but in a new found capacity.
During her physiotherapy studies at the University of Melbourne, she developed a passion for Pilates and movement rehabilitation, culminating in a study placement with the prestigious Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute in London.
Upon graduating in 2006, Joanne began her working career in private practice, before joining InSync in 2009. Since this time, Joanne has continued to develop her love and passion in the performing arts and has worked with both professional and student dancers, musicians/vocalists and actors. Joanne likes to stay up to date with assessment and treatment techniques, and regularly attends professional development courses. Joanne she enjoys spending time with her young family, playing the piano and cooking. To this day, she still takes great pleasure in donning her ballet shoes at adult ballet classes.
