Physiotherapist (BHlthSci & MPhysioPrac)
Bradley Smith is a physiotherapist and Pilates instructor who joined the InSync Team in 2018. Bradley began dancing from an early age, traversing his way up the Cecchetti syllabus to Advanced 1. Whilst training, Bradley developed a flare for acrobatics in dancing, naturally leading him to train with Canadian based Acrobatic Arts and becoming a certified Acrodance teacher.
During his double degree in Health Sciences and Physiotherapy, Bradley gained invaluable experience at The Australian Ballet, learning from the world leaders in dance physiotherapy with some of the world's most talented performers. Bradley has postgraduate training in clinical pilates and trigger point dry needling.
Bradley has a special interest in the anatomy and kinesiology of dance movements, injury prevention and strength and conditioning for the high performance dancer (including pilates based modalities). His role at InSync allows him to blend all these key areas to collaborate, educate and empower the patient to achieve whatever goals they long to achieve. Bradley is a regular contributor to Dancetrain Magazine and was a finalist for the 2019 International Association for Dance Medicine and Science Infographic competition for a piece titled ’Turning the tables on turnout’.
In his spare time, Bradley enjoys live music, bouldering (indoor rock climbing) and getting lost in a good book.
