Meet The Team
Amelia Linane is a physiotherapist who joined the InSync team in 2018. Amelia commenced dancing in her home city of Sydney. After completing her RAD syllabus as a full time student at the Conlan College she was accepted into the Bachelor of Dance at VCA (Victorian College of the Arts) and moved to Melbourne to pursue her dancing career.
Outside of her own dancing, Amelia worked as a dance teacher and taught a variety of levels from children’s beginner classes, to senior classes and adult ballet.
After graduating from VCA Amelia spent time focusing on rehabilitating her own injuries, which led her to develop a keen interest in physiotherapy, Pilates and exercise rehabilitation. Amelia chose to pursue a career in physiotherapy and graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2014 with a Doctor of Physiotherapy with honours. This included the opportunity to complete a placement with the physiotherapists at the Australian Ballet.
At the start of her physiotherapy career Amelia worked in the public health system where she developed a special interest in orthopaedics and musculoskeletal injuries and conditions.
Amelia’s role at InSync allows her to combine her love of dance with her passion to assist clients to rehabilitate their injuries, while educating and empowering them to achieve their goals.
