Physiotherapist B.Phty (Hons)
Arpitha is a physiotherapist with 21 years of experience in Bharatanatya (a form of Indian classical dance). Having grown up constantly surrounded by dance and music she naturally developed an inclination towards the performing arts and the science behind it. Arpitha has a keen interest in the biomechanics, performance, and injury prevention of not only Indian classical, but all styles of dance.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Hons.) degree from Monash University Arpitha began her career in private practice. She has completed various professional development courses including APPI Pilates and dry needling. Recently, she completed six months working in the Blue Mountains, treating a variety of people including dancers and mountain climbers.
In her spare time Arpitha enjoys learning, performing and teaching dance, reading and hanging out with her nearest and dearest.
